Background

Medovník makes traditional Old Slavic cake by hand. Aside from the original product, their portfolio consists of a number of different product variations. One of which was soon to be Medovník Pikao. Grizzlink’s task was to come up with a campaign for its product launch.

Our approach

One of the main objectives was to create sufficient brand awareness through Facebook campaigns. We worked with the frequency of reaching the target group at least six times around the launch date. We based targeting off demographic, geographic, behavioral and date-time data. We took into consideration sales promotion within respective retailers or the usual time the target group usually goes grocery shopping. Next to Facebook campaigns, we used Google Ads, Sklik, Adform, paid PR and influencers. As for the creative form, we were building on the symbolism of relationship and love.

Outcome

Through promotion via chosen influencers we reached well over 35 thousand people and achieved more than 110 thousand views of the campaign posts. The product launch was fairly successful and after the campaign ended, the revenue share of Medovník Pikao consisted of one third of the whole Medovník portfolio.
